Warby Parker Spring Collection - Walker Canton BlueMost of you probably don’t realize this but I am pretty much blind without the help of “corrective lenses”!  You don’t know this, of course, because I  generally always wear my contact lenses , in particular for photos.  But with eyeglasses becoming more and more popular as an fashion accessory and so many brands now offering a variety of color and style choices…  I have become increasingly on the search for a pair that matches my own personal style!

Enter Warby Parker….

Warby Parker Spring 2014 Collection I was extremely excited when Warby Parker reached out to me about their new Spring 2014 collection.  For those of you not familiar with the brand, Warby Parker was conceived as an alternative to some of the overpriced and traditional eyewear available today.  By engaging with customers directly through their website, Warby Parker is able to provide high-quality, great-looking prescription eyewear at a fraction of the price.  Additionally, Warby Parker offers “eyewear with a purpose” by partnering with non-profits to ensure that for every pair of glasses sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need.

For 2014, there are 2 new collections being introduced: The Spring Collection (which offers eight new shapes and six new colors) and the Palm Canyon Collection (which refreshes some of their best-loved frames in a palette of mesquite, acacia, ironwood, and sand).

Home Try On Warby ParkerI decided to leverage Warby Parker’s Home Try On program to try out some of the frames.  The program allows you to try on 5 pairs of eyeglasses (for 5 days) for free!  One of the frames I selected was the Walker in Canton Blue from the Spring Collection (see below).

I was definitely impressed with the ease of the program and absolutely adored the frames.  The quality was spot on, the style and color choices were fabulous and the prices were even better (as most were priced at $95)!

What do you think of “eyeglasses for fashion”?  Which pair of frames is your favorite?  And of course, if you haven’t had an opportunity to check out Warby Parker…  make sure that you do!!
